About The Gatwick School
Opened in 2014, and judged 'Good' by Ofsted in all areas in 2017. The Gatwick School is a state-funded, all-through school based in Crawley, West Sussex. Teaching children aged 4-16, the school is non-denominational and mixed gender. Located on Gatwick Road, it is less than a mile from the international airport of the same name.
The school can be accessed on public transport by the Metrobus network, with the Gatwick Road North bus stop situated outside the school. The Gatwick School has a breakfast club and runs OASIS clubs at the end of the day for after-school intellectual stimulation.
Values and vision
The Gatwick School aims to open portals of opportunity for pupils, staff, families and communities and is designed to prepare young people for success, whether they choose to access further education or go directly into employment.
By providing a learning experience with an emphasis on global education, business and enterprise, science and technology, The Gatwick School aims to raise aspirations and broaden horizons. This is in conjunction with increasing tolerance and sensitivity to the diversity of the population of Crawley, the South East and the UK as a whole.
